Who is responsible for your information

Data controller: Magic Wheels, operated by Hasan Ali.

You can reach us using the telephone number, WhatsApp number or email address on the contact page.

Correspondence address available on legitimate request. Magic Wheels is a service-area business that travels to the learner, so no public postal address is published.

What we collect

We only collect what we need in order to reply to you and arrange a lesson. When you send an enquiry or a lesson request, that is:

• Your name
• Whether you want to learn in a manual or an automatic
• Your phone number
• Your email address, if you give one
• The kind of lesson you are asking about
• How you would prefer to be contacted
• Roughly when you are available
• Your full pickup address, which is usually your home address
• The date and start time you would like, if you send a lesson request
• Whether you would rather pay by cash or bank transfer, if you tell us
• Anything else you choose to write in your message

About your address

Until 6 August 2026 this form asked only for a postcode or an area. It now asks for your full pickup address, because that is what the instructor needs in order to collect you.

It is used to arrange and deliver your lessons and for nothing else. It is not published anywhere on this website, it is not shared with anyone outside Magic Wheels, and it is not used for marketing.

If you would rather not give a full address before you have spoken to anyone, send a postcode and a note in your message, or ring or message instead. That is a perfectly acceptable way to make an enquiry.

Why we hold it

To reply to your enquiry, to arrange and deliver driving lessons, and to keep a record of what was agreed between us.

Different activities rely on different lawful bases under UK GDPR:

• Pre-contractual steps, responding to driving-lesson enquiries and discussing the services you have asked about.
• Contract, arranging and providing lessons once they have been agreed.
• Legitimate interests, protecting this website and the enquiry service from spam, abuse and security threats.
• Legal obligation, keeping information where we are required to for tax, accounting or legal purposes.

About the privacy tick-box

The tick-box on the enquiry form confirms that you have read this notice. It is not blanket consent for every use of your information: each activity above relies on the lawful basis listed against it, not on consent.

We do not use your details for marketing, and we do not sell or share them with anyone for their own purposes.

Who else sees it

When you send an enquiry it is delivered to the instructor's inbox by Resend, a transactional email provider, acting on our instructions only.

Resend may process data on infrastructure outside the United Kingdom. If you would like details of the safeguards that apply to that transfer, please ask using the contact details above.

The website is planned to be hosted by Vercel. Hosting infrastructure may process technical request information needed to deliver and secure the website.

Both act on our instructions only. Nobody else is given access.

How long we keep it

Unsuccessful or inactive enquiries will normally be deleted within 12 months of the last communication.

Information relating to lessons, payments or business records may be kept for up to six years where that is needed for accounting, tax, contractual or legal purposes.

The spam-prevention hashes described below are temporary and normally expire within ten minutes.

When we no longer need your details, we delete them.

Cookies, analytics and abuse prevention

This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies, and uses no analytics. Nothing here follows you around the internet.

To stop the enquiry form being abused, your IP address is hashed with a secret and held in memory for a short period so repeated submissions from one connection can be slowed. The address itself is never stored, never written to disk and never shared.

If analytics is added later, this policy will be updated first, and a cookie notice will be added if the tool chosen requires one.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:

• Show you the information we hold about you
• Correct anything that is wrong
• Delete it
• Restrict what we do with it, or object to us holding it
• Provide it in a portable form

Complaints

If something has gone wrong, please tell us first so we can put it right.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with the date it was updated.
